What is the hair transplant process?

The first step is to book in a consultation with us at SkinLuxe Clinic by sending us an email to info@skinluxe.co.uk

Your doctor will assess your hair loss, symptoms, causes and expectations in regard to your results.

After we have confirmed you are suitable for the treatment, we will book your surgery in at our Istanbul Clinic.

Once you arrive in Turkey, all accommodation and transfers to and from the clinic are included with your treatment to ensure you are prepared for your journey. You will be greeted by your english speaking, patient co ordinator who will be happy to assist with any worries.

On the day of surgery, you will be taken to the clinic. During the surgery, you will be awake under local anaesthetic.

Straight after your hair transplant is finished you will be able to go about your daily activities as normal. Many patients wander around the famous sites and enjoy a bite to eat.

Once your surgeon has given you the all clear you will be able to fly home. Your surgery team will be on hand via whatsapp 24/7 to answer any questions and ensure you are not alone.

How long does recovery take?

General healing is around 5-10 days, however the procedure does not restrict you from carrying out any of your daily activities. There is no down-time except if you wish to take time off work yourself.
